Subjects we cover
GCSE Maths is where most students lose marks they could keep. Our GCSE maths tutors cover the full curriculum at both Foundation and Higher tier: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, ratio and proportion, probability and statistics.
We start by finding out where the gaps actually are. A student struggling with quadratics often has a problem further back, in negative numbers or in rearranging equations, and no amount of practising quadratics will fix it. We rebuild the foundation first, then move forward.
Students work through past papers under timed conditions from Year 10, so the exam itself is familiar long before they sit it.
Our GCSE English tutors cover both English Language and English Literature. Language work focuses on reading comprehension, structured writing and the technical accuracy that separates a Grade 5 from a Grade 7. Literature work covers set texts, poetry analysis and unseen extracts.
English marks are won on structure and evidence rather than on how much a student writes. We teach students how examiners actually award marks, then have them apply it to past questions until it becomes second nature.
We teach GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, for both Combined Science and Triple Science, including required practicals and the maths content that trips up many science students.
Science marks are lost in two places: the required practicals, where students have to explain method, variables and sources of error, and the calculations, where a rearranged equation or a missed unit conversion costs the mark. We cover both, and we give Biology, Chemistry and Physics their own time rather than blurring them together.
Students work through past paper questions by topic first, then full papers under timed conditions, so they know how their exam board words its questions long before exam day. Read more about our GCSE science tutors.

How our GCSE tuition works
Every GCSE subject runs as a two hour session, with a maximum of six students to one tutor. That ratio matters. It is small enough that your child cannot sit at the back and coast, and large enough that they see how other students approach the same problem.
Sessions run seven days a week and you choose which days suit your family. There is no fixed timetable to work around, so tuition fits alongside school, clubs and everything else.
After every session you receive a written report setting out what was covered, what your child got right, and what still needs work. You are never left guessing whether the money is doing anything.

GCSE revision courses
We run intensive GCSE revision courses during every half term break. These are focused sessions built around past papers and exam technique, aimed at students who need to cover ground quickly before mocks or the summer exams.
Half term revision is open to existing students and to students who do not attend during term time.

Before your child joins a GCSE group, we run a free assessment and trial session. It takes about 30 minutes and there is no obligation to enrol afterwards.
You receive a detailed written report showing exactly where your child sits against the GCSE specification, which topics are secure, and which gaps are holding the grade back. Plenty of parents use that report on its own and decide tuition is not needed yet. That is a fine outcome.

GCSE tuition: common questions
When should my child start GCSE tuition?
Year 10 is the strongest starting point, because it leaves time to fix gaps before content builds on top of them. Year 11 is still worthwhile, particularly after mocks when you can see exactly which papers went wrong. We take students at any stage.
How much does GCSE tuition cost?
Fees depend on how many subjects and how many sessions a week your child needs, so we give you a clear monthly figure at the free assessment rather than a generic price. There is no obligation to enrol.
How big are the groups?
Every group has a maximum of six students to one tutor. That is small enough for individual attention in every session, and large enough for students to learn from how others approach a problem.
Do you cover all exam boards?
Yes. We teach AQA, Edexcel and OCR, and we match the specification to whichever board your child’s school uses.
What if my child is aiming for a Grade 4 rather than a Grade 7?
That is exactly the work. A student moving from a 3 to a 5 needs different teaching from one moving from a 6 to an 8, and the assessment tells us which. We set the target with you at the start.
Can my child attend more than one subject?
Yes. Each subject runs as its own two hour session, and many students attend for two or three subjects across different days.

Yes. We run intensive GCSE revision during every half term break, open to existing students and to students who do not attend during term time.
